| I remember listening to The Original Broadway recording of Les Miserables when I was a little girl. Colm Wilkenson, although I didn't know his name at that time, had a voice that profoundly affected me. I would listen to every song that he sang over and over again. I was so moved by his voice. It is one of my greatest regrets that I was never able to see Colm perform Jean Valjean in Les Miserables on stage. Through the movie Les Miserables, I am finally able to see who the man with the voice I have loved for the last 25 years is. Thank you Colm, for sharing your voice with the world all these years! It has been a true blessing to listen to you. |

Just returned home from the movie Les Miserable....the most amazing, touching part of the whole movie was to watch Colm, Hugh and Anne sing the final words..."To love another person is to see the face of God". What an appropriate way to end the movie...with the original Jean singing. I am a proud fan and know how this musical changed my life 23 years ago and continues to change it now...
