I am Leeanne's husband (she created this site). Christian will go in for his fenestration on Monday, the day after Valentine's day this year. We are used to our birthdays or holidays being spent in hospital waiting rooms. However, once they close the hole they had to leave in his heart this time, he will get to come back home and not have to go back for any more scheduled surgeries for some time! We are taking all 3 of our precious boys to see the Ringling Bros circus a few days after Christian's surgery. Then, later on this year, we hope that the Make A Wish foundation approves him for his Wish to go to Disney World. They have extended their program to include any life threatening conditions/illnesses, so now it seems that CHD babies are included!!! |
